The brake is made out of 16-gauge galvanized metal with a heavy duty footpad made out of tire retread material. When not in use, you just fold it up and it’s out of your way. “Just swing it!” Swing down your brake and just like that, no more moving down hill or sliding.
Compatibility & Safe Use
Not knowing whether a brake will fit—or work safely—on your trailer. Brady’s Brake is designed to work with all standard 6-inch single-wheel trailer jacks rated for 1,000 lbs, with a tongue weight of at least 15% of the combined boat and trailer weight.
This ensures the brake grips correctly and performs as intended. For safety, the brake is not designed for extremely steep inclines, where additional securing methods may be required.
